Prerequisites

Some familiarity with database concepts and an operating system such as Linux, Unix, W2K/W2K3, or OpenVMS.  Some previous experience in the role of a DBA would be beneficial, but not essential. 

This course should typically be taken before the 3-day Ingres Database Administration course.
