Synopsis

This course shows how to configure an ODBC connection to Ingres and deliver Ingres data to applications such as MS Office Excel.  It also shows how Ingres queries can be created with run-time parameters which allow users to browse through their database.   The course also looks at deployment and security issues.  Customers in the US/Canada should contact KB Computer Associates to schedule this course

This course is aimed at the technically sophisticated business user who understands basic database concepts.  It is also suitable for the business-aware database specialist who wants to present users with data in a form suitable for analysis and manipulation using tools such as MS Excel or Crystal Reports. All attendees must be familiar with MS Office.
